This alleged iPhone 8 design leak will get you amped before the release

Impact

The iPhone 8 leaks continue. Ahead of the device's release later in 2017, sources are popping up left and right to showcase the premium iPhone's purported look. But there's no official word from Apple.

Now, Forbes has reported that one of the best looks has been released. Shared by Reddit user kamikasky, who credits "a friend in the industry," the image appears to show the iPhone 8's front and back panels.

Similar to previous mockups, leaks and rumors, the handset is shown with a near bezel-less design. The only bezel is at the front top for the front-facing camera. The rear shows a vertically aligned dual lens camera, which is rumored to be coming to the premium device.

Earlier in June, an iPhone case mockup shared on Slashleaks teased at the potential design of the device. The image showed a protective shell without a cutout in the back. If true, this potentially suggests that rumors of a Touch ID on the back of the iPhone 8 are baseless.

The new iPhone might also have a front-facing dual-lens camera. It's also rumored to offer wireless charging, extended battery life, more water resistance and a 3-D sensing system.
