Nate Silver 538 Projections: Nate Silver and Politico Agree, Obama Will Win Key Swing States

Impact

 Lots of people grumble about the unfairness of the Electoral College system. It not only seems antiquated, but also gives some of us less of an incentive to vote. In my case, my home state of South Carolina will go red no matter how much I pout. And even now, though I go to school in New Jersey, my blue vote is just the cherry on top. Obama will take the state with or without me. Now, I still encourage all of you to visit your local precinct and cast a ballot. After all, democracy depends on it. But this election will probably come to just a few key states. Some journalists have already projected which way the states will swing. Here’s what a few are thinking:
