Blizzard Draco 2012: Tornados Hit Mobile, Alabama

The Weather Channel tweets that areas of Mobile, Alabama previously damaged by storms are under a tornado warning until 10 AM CST.

While Mobile County schools are still open, tornados related to the ongoing storm have apparently damaged or destroyed multiple buildings. A house has fallen on a man on Frederick Street who suffered no injuries, while the Lowe's Home Improvement store near Dauphin Street sustained heavy storm damage.

Near the Red Cross's Mobile headquarters on North Sage Avenue, three Red Cross trucks have been flipped over, Lord said. More from AL.com:

"The National Weather Service released this image at 8:28 a.m. this morning. Red spots indicate areas where tornado warnings are in effect. Yellow areas indicate tornado watches while orange areas are under severe thunderstorm or marine warnings.

A BP gas station at Springhill Avenue and Union Street has completely caved in."
