End of the World: The Vatican Speaks Out

The Christian Science Monitor reported that The Vatican has officially contracticted the Mayan's prediction that the world will end on 12-21-12. In an editorial in the Vatican's official daily newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano, Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, the director of the Vatican Observatory, criticized "pseudo-prophecies" about the end of the Universe, and said the world is not ending ... yet.
