Quvenzhané Wallis Nominated For Best Actress Nomination: Little Girl From Beasts Of the South Wild Nominated

At only 9 years old Quvenzhané Wallis is the youngest Best Actress nominee ever. Beasts of the Southern Wild was also nominated for the coveted Best Picture award. 

Wallis will go up against Jessica Chastain in Zero Dark Thirty, Jennifer Lawrence in Silver Linings Playbook, Emmanuelle Riva in Amour, and Naomi Watts for The Impossible. 

This year the category includes the youngest nominee and the oldest nominee, as Riva is 85-years-old.
