Ben Affleck Oscar Snub: No Nomination For Argo Director

The list of the 2013 Academy Awards nominees was announced this morning and the big snub (or one of the big snubs ... was Zero Dark Thirty made without a director?) was no nomination for Ben Affleck. 

Affleck's film Argo was nominated for Best Picture, but there was no directing nod for him. The list of Best Director nominees is as follows: 

David O. Russell, Silver Linings Playbook
