Golden Globes Best Actor Predictions: Daniel Day Lewis Will Win

If there's one sure thing tonight at the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards it's Daniel Day-Lewis. The notoriously intense method actor is up for Best Actor in a Drama for his role as President Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln. 

Day-Lewis is up against Richard Gere in Arbitage, John Hawkes in The Sessions, Joaquin Phoenix in The Master, and Denzel Washington in Flight. While Phoenix and Hawkes certainly are worthy contenders I think tonight's award will go to Day-Lewis. That performance will live on in the history books.
