NBC knows how to be edgy. The peacock is featuring the Today show crew as its red-carpet-show hosts. A few highlights so far:

• Matt Lauer said things.

• Al Roker forecasted Julia Louis-Dreyfus's chances of winning and also checked out her "neck of the woods" aka cleavage.

• Hayden Pantitea;flkdafjine was interviewed and I can't remember if she talked because her dress was -- uh -- like really well designed.

• No sighting on Tina Fey's muppet yet.

• Oh look, Jimmy Fallon. 

• Co-hosts Tina and Amy showed up; the jury is still out on if women are funny at all.
