Golden Globes Winners 2013: Full List Of Winners

The Golden Globes honor both film and television. This year, big film nominees include Argo, Lincoln, and Django Unchained. 

In the TV category Breaking Bad, Homeland, and Downton Abbey hold down the drama fort, while Modern Family leads the comedy charge. 

The best actor/ actress awards span the drama, musical, and comedy categories.

The Globes are a bit different this season, coming after the Academy Award nominations (announced on Thursday), which were announced earlier than usual and threw out some shockers that have left the Globes show a little less relevant. :-(

Still, the awards — traditionally prologue to the Oscars — are expected to drum up Academy Awards-buzz for a number of hot movies, including Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty. The Golden Globes is seen as a key barometer for success at the Academy Awards.

The annual formal ceremony and dinner at which the awards are presented is a major part of the film industry's awards season, which culminates each year with the Academy Awards.
