Jennifer Lawrence Wins Golden Globe For Silver Linings Playbook

The winner for Best Actress, Musical or Comedy was announced and the winner is Jennifer Lawrence for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. 

In her acceptance speech Lawrence began by saying, "I beat Meryl." About Harvy Weinstein she said, "thank you for killing whoever you had to kill to get me up here today." 

Lawrence was up against the following nominees:

Emily Blunt, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen
