Ben Affleck Golden Globe Winner: Best Director for Argo

Well it turns out the Academy Awards got it wrong. The Oscars may have snubbed Ben Affleck but he won tonight for Best Director at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. 

Affleck's film Argo was snubbed by the Oscar's in the direction category and many cyncics think the reason is Affleck's previous status as Hollywood's reigning pretty boy. 

Affleck beat out a heavy hitting list of nominees including Kathryn Bigelow, Zero Dark Thirty; Ang Lee, Life of Pi; Steven Spielberg, Lincoln; and Quentin Tarantino, Django Unchained.
