St. Louis College Shooting: Student Shoots Financial Aid Advisor (VIDEO)

Another day, another (school) shooting in America. 

According to KMOV, police reported that a Stevens Institute of Business and Arts student walked into the downtown, St. Louis, Missouri, school and shot a financial aid advisor before turning the gun on himself.

The still unidentified gunman entered a fourth-floor office in the school and shot the longtime faculty member in the chest. He then shot himself. Both men were transported to SLU Hospital in critical condition. A handgun was recovered inside the school and about 40 students were immediately evacuated.

St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson said the suspect had been a part-time student at the school for the past four years.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, both men were in surgery at 3:00 p.m., as St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson said he was "hopeful" both men would survive.

Authorities said the victim is in his late 40s, and the suspected shooter is 21-years-old.
