Pattie Mallette, Justin Bieber's mom, is producing an anti-abortion film that hopes to raise $10 million for pregnancy centers — reported The Huffington Post.

Crescendo, the pro-life movie of which Mellette is an executive producer, is an enterprise of filmmaking company "Movie to Movement." The film is expected to premier worldwide on February 28, 2013.

Mallette's participation in the project is not limited to production. She'll also appear at some of the showings, during which producers of the short film hope to advocate pro-life stances as well as raising money for the cause.

Mallette, who, according to HuffPo, "has written and spoken extensively about the addiction and abuse that led to her teenage pregnancy," issued a statement saying she hopes her involvement with Crescendo will "encourage young women all over the world [...] to let them know that there is a place to go, people who will take care of you and a safe home to live in if you are pregnant and think you have nowhere else to turn."
