What Time is the Inaugural Address?

On Monday, January 21, President Barack Obama will undergo his second presidential inauguration and begin his second term as President of the United States.

Chief Justice of the Supreme Court John Roberts will administer the president his oath of office, after which Obama will be driven down second avenue to the White House in his second inaugural parade.

11:30 a.m.: U.S. Marine Band performs, as well as choirs from P.S. 22 in New York’s Staten Island and Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn.

2:35 p.m.: The Obamas and Bidens participate in a parade featuring floats and vehicles representing about 60 groups.

6 p.m.: The Commander in Chief’s Inaugural Ball to honor America’s service members and their families, a tradition started by President Bush in 2005.

6:30 p.m.: The Inaugural Ball, a celebration that spans every hall in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
