Alicia Keys covered her own hit, "Girl on Fire," on Monday's 57th Commander in Chief's Inauguration Ball to pay tribute to President Barack Obama during the festivities surrounding the president's second inauguration.

"He's president and he's on fire…he's living in a world and it's on fire," Keys sang.

Keys was just one of the performers at Monday evening's inaugural ball events, which included just two balls (there were around ten four years ago) to keep with the fiscal conservative theme Obama wanted to project from his second inauguration. Other performers included fun. and Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson — who serenaded the president and the first lady with her version of Al Green's classic hit "Let's Stay Together."
