jOBS Movie Trailer: Ashton Kutcher Looks More Like Michael Kelso Than Steve Jobs

Culture

As jOBS, Joshua Michael Stern's film about Apple's co-founder Steve Jobs, starring Two and a Half Men's Ashton Kutcher, opens in Sundance 2013 (it opens in theaters on April 19) a 60-second teaser — that shows Jobs (Kutcher) and Apple's co-founder Steve Wozniak (played by Josh Gad) walking through a garage at Hewlett Packard — has surfaced on YouTube.

But according to Wozniak himself, the clip is not an accurate representation. "Not close. We never had such interaction and roles. I'm not even sure what it's getting at. Personalities are very wrong although mine is closer," Wozniak told Gizmodo

Meanwhile, Kutcher told the LA Times that playing the late Steve Jobs was "one of the most terrifying things I've ever tried to do in my life."

"I've thrown myself into this massive gauntlet of criticism [because Jobs is a figure so many people knew]," the That 70's Show star continued. "I've never seen Abraham Lincoln walk into a room, but I've seen Steve Jobs walk into a room," he concluded.

Well, I've seen both Michael Kelso and Steve Jobs (on TV). And in this clip of jOBS, Kutcher looks (and sounds) more like the former than the latter.

What do you think of Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs?
