Facebook Earnings Announcement LIVE: Will Report Show FB Making Gains?

On Wednesday, Facebook will report their earnings from the December quarter earnings report; the report will be released at 4 p.m. ET after the market closes. The release will determine wheather or not IPO prices will continue their upward trend or return to the 20s. 

On Tuesday, the stock closed at $30.77. According to PolicyMic pundit Sal Bommarito, "stock is trading close 20% off of its IPO price of $38 per share." 

The two biggest things that investors will be looking for in Wednesday's earnings report are mobile ad revenue and overall growth revenue. During the October report, mobile ad revenue reportedly counted for 14% of total ad revenue. This solid number renewed investor faith. If the number continue to trend upwards, it could spell good things for Facebook. 

Investors will also be looking out Facebook's new revenue-generation options. According to Mashable those include, "app install ads, Sponsored Results, and Gifts."
