North Korean Propaganda Video Shows Annihilated NYC Burning to Michael Jackson's "We Are The World"

North Korea, in anticipation of upcoming nuclear tests, has posted a bizarre video depicting a flaming New York City falling under withering missile fire with "We Are The World" as the soundtrack.

China's Korean-language Uriminzokkiri website, which distributes North Korean state propaganda, uploaded the video Saturday. It opens with a sleeping man imagining himself boarding a Korean People's Army space shuttle hoisted into orbit by the same type of rocket the nation successfully tested in December.

He then uses it to accomplish every North Korean's apparent dream: melting the faces off of thousands of New Yorkers to a tune sung by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie. North Korean missiles destroy large swathes of the New York waterline, accompanied by what appears to be strafing jets and overlaid by a burning American flag.

“Somewhere in the United States, black clouds of smoke are billowing,” a translated caption reads. “It seems that the nest of wickedness is ablaze with the fire started by itself.”

“Despite all kinds of attempts by imperialists to isolate and crush us ... never will anyone be able to stop the people marching toward a final victory,” the narrator concludes.

South Korean officials confirmed they believe a significant North Korean nuclear test is imminent. Pyongyang has garnered over 60,000 views on the video.
