Grammy Awards 2013: Winners, Nominees, and All the LIVE Updates

Culture

Music's biggest night is upon us. This Sunday, millions and millions of folk will be tuning in live for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, and PolicyMic will be adding to the evening with up-to-the-minute updates and analysis here on our live blog.

The event will be hosted by none other than LL Cool J, and already the lineup of performers is tune-in worthy: Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran, Elton John, Taylor Swift ... to name a few. If any of the performances are even half as memorable as Taylor Swift's incredible performance of "Mean" at last year's show, they will go down in the history books.

This year's list of nominations is heavily dominated by male artists with six different nominees tied for the lead: Jay-Z, Kanye West, Frank Ocean, fun., Mumford & Sons, and Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. That said, it's pretty safe to say there will be no blow out winner like Adele's incredible sweep in 2012. Then agan, we'll just have to wait and see what the night holds.

The Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on CBS beginning at 8 p.m. Stick around on PolicyMic where we'll be covering everything from the red carpet looks to the biggest wins and snubs of the night. Stay tuned.
