Grammy Performances 2013: YouTube Video Elton John and Ed Sheeran "A Team"

The 2013 Grammys offered a night of endless performances, many of them exceptional. One of the best performances at the 55th annual Grammy Awards came by way of British rock stars, old and new. Sir Elton John and Ed Sheeran shared the stage to perform Sheeran's smash hit "A Team" ... and they brought the house down. With Sheeran on guitar and John on piano "A Team" got the royal treatment; not to mention a massive career boost for the under-the-radar Sheeran who is certainly on everyone's radar now after sharing the stage with one of modern music's biggest legends and undeniable geniuses.

Sheeran was only nominated for one award Sunday night (Song of the Year) which he lost to Fun.'s "We Are Young." Trophy losses aside, this is surely just the beginning of what will be a long career for the 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Suffolk.

John, for his part, seems to enjoy teaming up with music's freshest faces on the Grammys stage. In 2001 he joined Eminem on stage and in 2010 he did a number with Lady Gaga.

Check out Elton John and Ed Sheeran's rendition of "A Team" and keep an eye on Sheeran, big things are on the horizon for that one.
