Pope Benedict has had his share of scandals while head of the Roman Catholic Church. He's citing poor health as the reason for his stepping down, but could it be something more?
He was at the helm of the church while it was rocked by sexual abuse scandals and tried to cover them up. While Benedict was Archbishop of Munich, in fact, a known molester under his purview was re-assigned and allowed to continue working with young kids.
In 2006, Benedict gave a lecture at his old university in Regensburg, Germany in which he stated that the contributions of the Prophet Muhammed, a holy man to Muslims, were only "evil and inhuman."
And the list doesn't stop there, but in the coming days and months, will we see it added to?
