SOTU Response: Will GOP's Marco Rubio Step Up?

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) has been a rising star in the Republican party, gaining excitement as speculation continues about 2016 presidential nominees.  There is still time, but Rubio's GOP response is a chance to set the stage for the young, Latino senator.

Rubio will look to re-capture Latino voters, the fastest-growing ethnic minority in the United States that the GOP lost badly in November 2012.  He will deliver the speech in both English and Spanish.

While the response is usually an afterthought for many, Rubio has already managed to take some attention away from Obama.  We'll have to see if Rubio can step up or match up with Bobby Jindal's stale 2009 GOP response.
