Watch State of the Union Online

One of the biggest indicators to look for in tonights address is the President's tone. To be clear: he will be able to dazzle you and capture your imagination, but do not let this cover your eyes to the policies, or lack there of, he is talking about.

Progressives are hoping for a mention of climate change; conservatives are hoping for the Obama from 2011 in which he discussed how government must spend within its means. Although the national debt and deficit is astounding, the upcoming sequestration cuts are expected to lower 2013 total GDP by 0.6%. 

Gun control has been all over national media lately, and after VP Joe Biden's task force, look for Obama to make a strong statement about the future of gun policy.
