What Congress wants to hear in Obama's address

Congress has relentlessly grilled the White House and its surrogates (notably UN Ambassador Susan Rice and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton) on the Benghazi attacks since September. Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), and John McCain (R-AZ) have been perhaps the most profile of those pressing for further information from the White House.

Earlier today, the trio released an open letter to the president requesting an answer to the following question:

"During the eight hours the U.S. mission was under attack, did you personally speak with any officials in the Libyan government to request assistance for our American personnel?"

It is unlikely that President Obama will directly address their letter or their criticisms of his administration's handling of Benghazi in his speech. Although he almost certainly has to mention the attacks at some point, his speech will probably not satisfy the GOP senators.
