If there's one thing everyone knows about President Obama it should be this: the guy can speak. As an orator, he captures the attention of everyone in the room; it even seems at times that his pauses are moments when the whole nation goes silent.
The oppositional force tonight is keen of this. Obama making a speech is like Albert Pujols stepping up to the plate when the other team needs a home run: it is scary. Obama's capacity to garner public enthusiasm will be on full display tonight, as he must convince his audience without merely offering empty promises.
