Obama Releases Excerpts of Tonight's SOTU Address

The Washington Post has released some excerpts from tognight's state of the union address in advance of the speech itself. Interesting to see that Obama is trying to change the dialouge in this quote from being about "smaller government" to "smarter government."

It will be interesting to see what proposals he actually has to offer. With any luck, "nothing I'm proposing tonight should increase our deficit by a single dime" doesn't mean, "it doesn't cost a dime to wait until this fiscal onslaught becomes a near massacre!"
