State of the Union 2013: Obama says SOTU is "strong"

Impact

President Obama has started off his address with the announcement of the withdrawal of troops from overseas.  Economic recovery is in full swing and the private sector has created over 6 million new jobs.

 

Obama moves on to say that "We can say with confidence, that the State of our Union is stronger."  This is now Obama's second standing ovation in the Address.  Obama has expressed the importance of building up the economy from the middle-class.  A third standing ovation.

 

He's coming out strong for the middle-class and America's children.
