Ted Nugent Obama: Pro-Gun Rocker Wasn't Impressed at SOTU

Impact

Ted Nugent, the 64-year old former rock star, who was once interrogated by the Secret Service for supposedly threatening to kill President Barack Obama, was invited to the 2013 State of the Union by Representative Steve Stockman (R-Texas) — while Democrats invited former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords (D-Ariz.) and the victims of Sandy Hook among others.

Nugent, who confessed his phobia about what he calls "Fedzilla" in an op-ed for The Washington Times, wasn't obviously impressed with Obama's defense of a bold progressive agenda. Slate described him as "crossed-armed" and "not amused," especially as the president closed his speech with a passionate defense for more control laws by mentioning former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (R-Ariz.) — who was shot on the January 8, 2011, Tucson attack — and the victims of the December 14 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.

It's obvious Nugent wasn't impressed with the president. But what do you think he was thinking?
