What Time Are the Oscars?

What time are this Sunday's Academy Awards? The ceremony begins at 8 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ABC. 

Pre-show festivities and red carpet footage will begin at 5:30 p.m. 

The show is notorious for going overtime but perhaps with the speedy rhythm of Seth MacFarlane it will end promptly at 11 p.m.
