Oscar Best Makeup, Best Costume Design, and Best Film Editing: Who Will Win

Makeup and Hairstyling -

Favorite: The Hobbit at 2/5

Next Best: Les Miserables at 7/4

I'd say that The Hobbit is a Lock to win this one, even if it's not one of the stronger favorites. The level of hairstyling (not to mention beardstyling) that went into making the dwarves is simply unmatched.

Costume Design -

Favorite: Anna Karenina at 1/3

Next Best: Les Miserables at 7/2

Anna Karenina is a very weak Lock to win, but only because after Les Miserables, the odds for the other nominees drop off dramatically. It's clearly a two-horse race.

Film Editing -

Favorite: Argo at 2/5

Next Best: Zero Dark Thrity at 9/4

This race is too close to call, and Lincoln isn't exactly out of the running at 8/1. Watch out for Spielberg to pull the upset.
