Oscar Best Original Screenplay, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Cinematography

Original Screenplay -

Favorite: Django Unchained at 5/4

Next Best: Zero Dark Thirty at 7/4

This race is absoltuely too close to call. Personally, I don't think Quentin Tarantino has ever been less deserving of an Oscar, but maybe the Academy has decided he's been robbed too many times in the past.

Adapted Screenplay -

Favorite: Argo at 8/11

Next Best: Lincoln at 6/4

Another one that's verging on a dead heat, the award for Best Adapted Screenplay could be a predictor of the eventual winner of Best Picture, which has become a race between Argo and Lincoln.

Cinematography:

Favorite: Life of Pi at 1/10

Next Best: Skyfall at 7/1

Life of Pi is a Mortal Lock to win for Best Cinematography. After all, it's the only movie nominated that was shot in 3D, and that has to count for something.
