Anne Hathaway's acceptance speeches have been highly mocked in the media and more often than not referred to as "awful." For Anne's sake, I hope she gets it under control tonight. We all know she's going to take home the statue for Best Supporting Actress and it would be totally awesome if she delivered an acceptance speech that the world could really get behind. Unforuntaltely, due to her speech track record it sounds like that might be a tall order.
In her Golden Globes speech she opened with a cringe-worthy "blergh." She then went on to say, "Thank you for this lovely blunt object that I will forever more use as a weapon against self doubt." That deserves an emoticon :( .
