Beasts of the Southern Wild star Quvenzhané Wallis, who is up for Best Actress, donned a dog purse at the 85th annual Academy Awards. The 9-year-old showed off the puppy purse to Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, demonstrating as much excitement over an animal bag as a 9-year-old girl should.

If she wins tonight, I'm confident she'll bring the purse on stage for good luck. I know I would have done the same as a child Oscar nominee! Will she be the next Tatum O'Neal?
