E! Online will be livestreaming the red carpet starting at 5:30 p.m. EST. Watch here.

The Oscars start at 8:30 p.m. EST (and last probably until around midnight).

Steven Spielberg's Lincoln leads this years pack of Oscar nominees with 12 nominations. The biopic is nominated for the evening's most coveted prizes including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor for Daniel Day-Lewis in the title role. 

Ang Lee's Life of Pi is the second runner up in the nominations category with 11 nods. Silver Linings Playbook and Les Miserables are tied for third with eight nominations apiece.
