Life of Pi wins the coveted prize for Best Cinematography. The nominees in the category were: 

Seamus McGarvey, Anna Karenina

Miranda's win was closely followed by a Best Visual Effects win also for Life of Pi. These early wins for the Ang Lee film might be a precursor to a Best Director win later in the night ... we will have to wait to find out.
