Anne Hathaway Wins Best Supporting Actress

Well that was well-deserved! Anne Hathaway won Best Supporting Actress for her role as Fantine in Les Miserables, for which she lost more than 20 pounds to look near death. Not going to lie, I wanted the mother from Silver Linings Playbook to get it, but Hathaway truly earned this. It was cute of her to say "it came true!" at the beginning of the speech, even though some found it to be a rather smug remark. She seemed to know she was going to get the award, as she breathlessly went down a list of people to thank.

Whatever, I think the whole thing was sweet, especially since she completely threw herself into the role. Here are the folks she beat out:
