John Thune Joins Filibuster As GOP Reinforcements Arrive

It looks like we're not going anywhere, folks, as a well-rested John Thune has tagged in. Rand Paul has just said that his office has been in contact with the Obama administration and that the White House is "done talking," which means that if Paul stays true to his word, this filibuster will go on through the night. Paul said he's willing to end the filibuster and allow a vote to take place if the administration provides a definitive answer to the question of whether Obama reserves the right to authorize the extrajudicial killing of U.S. citizens.

If the White House has gone to bed for the night, Paul on the GOP plan to plow through with their talking filibuster. Paul has yielded for a question from John Thune (R-S.D.).
