Papal conclave livestream schedule (c/o The Telegraph): 

UPDATE: Pope Francis I is the new pontiff.

Note: Because the voting is done behind closed doors, the live stream will only show the shot of the Sistine Chapel chimney.

5:00 a.m. (EDT)

A special mass was held in St Peter's and attended by the 115 cardinals ahead of the conclave.

11:30 a.m. (EDT)

The cardinals will enter the Sistine Chapel to begin the papal conclave and the door will be closed behind them.

1:30 p.m. (EDT)
