Big East Tournament 2013 Predictions and Bracket

Culture

The Big East Tournament gets underway March 12th in Madison Square Garden. With Syracuse, Notre Dame, and Louisville all leaving the conference this summer and the fate of the "Catholic 7" still up in the air, will this be the last great Big East Tournament?

Either way, this year's edition should be a fantastic tournament. The regular season title was shared by Georgetown, Louisville, and Marquette. But if history is any indicator, the Big East Tournament Champion could be anyone.

The bracket (pictured above) also shows the schedule, with quadruple headers running Wednesday and Thursday before Friday night's semi-finals and Championship game Saturday night.

I see Georgetown beating Syracuse for the third time this year in the first semi-final and then Louisville defeating Notre Dame in the other semi-final to set up a top seeded championship.

There, I see Georgetown prevailing and getting a much deserved one seed in the NCAA tournament.
