March Madness Predictions: Midwest Region Breakdown

Before the release of the NCAA Tournament Bracket on Selection Sunday, I wrote that my Final Four was going to be Louisville, Michigan State, St. Louis, and Kansas. Well lo and behold, three of those four teams ended up in the Midwest bracket. On top of that, Duke is a team that I think is extremely good, having lost only one game with Ryan Kelly, which added to the toughness of the bracket. Picking these games was extremely hard for me to do, especially since I'm a Michigan State fan. 

My big upset in the Midwest is Middle Tennessee State taking down Memphis and Creighton taking down Duke. I do think that St. Louis will give Louisville a tough match-up, but eventually Michigan State will be the ones to take down the number 1 seed.
