NCAA South Region Predictions and Breakdown

The South bracket is home to some good, but not great, teams. Let us not forget that Kansas lost to TCU (!!!) this year. Meanwhile, Georgetown scored only 37 points in a win against Tennessee. At one point Michigan looked unbeatable, but proved that they struggle unless they are on their home court. Florida has proven they can't win close games and VCU very well make another Final Four run. 

Upset wise, Michigan needs to be very careful with South Dakota State. They have a high powered guard who has been around the block in Nate Wolters and are a very dangerous team. VCU plays hard under the tutelage of Shaka Smart, and is always dangerous. 

But I am taking Georgetown to beat VCU in the elite 8. Otto Porter may be the best player in college basketball, and he could singlehandedly lead Georgetown to the Final Four.
