NASA Space X Dragon Splashdown LIVE Stream

Impact

Elon Musk's SpaceX expects its unmanned Dragon cargo capsule to hit the Pacific off the coast of Baja California at around 12:36 p.m. (EDT). NASA/Musk's partnership delivered half a ton of supplies to the International Space Station earlier this month.

According to NASA, the SpaceX Dragon's release from Canadarm2 occurred at 6:56 a.m. (EDT), after which the Expedition 35 crew commanded the spacecraft to depart from the ISS (Dragon fired its engines for the last time at 11:42 a.m.).

After the splashdown, a team of SpaceX engineers, technicians and divers will recover the capsule off the coast of Baja California.
