Marquette's Well-Documented Struggles From Three Plague Them Again

Down 37-25 at the time this is being written, let's look at some key stats working against the Golden Eagles:

9-35 from the field (Davante Gardner is 4-5, the rest of the team is 5-30 (16.7%)

1-15 from three (6.7%)

12 turnovers

This is an absolute recipe for disaster.  If it wasn't for Syracuse's own shooting woes (14-36 and 50% from the free throw line is not exactly lights-out shooting), Marquette could be down 20.

The Golden Eagles have shown an ability to come back from poor shooting performances (see the Davidson game), but until they can crack Syracuse's zone, they are looking at a trip back to Milwaukee as opposed to Atlanta.
