Kevin Ware broke his leg in one of the scariest injuries in NCAA Tournament play. Louisville has reported that Kevin Ware has a broken leg and has been taken to the Methodist Hospital Emergency Room.

The injury stunned the crowd at Indainapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium. The energy for both teams is sapped, and it will be interesting to see how the rest of the game plays out.

The traumatic injury left both Louisville and Duke players in tears. Louisville coach, Rick Pitino, was particularly distraught.

Ware did call his teammates over as he laid receiving treatment and tell them not to worry about him, but to win the game. He yelled, "Win the game!" to his teammates.

The injury occurred with a little under 10 minutes left in the first half. The game took a nine-minute break to get Ware off the court. The bone popped out of his skin and it was broken in two places. He will be out for a year at least. Play resumed once Ware was carted off on a stretcher.

Louisville ended up winning the game 85-63 and advancing to the Final Four. It was an emotional scene as they won the game and Chane Behanan wore a number 5 Louisville jersey, the number that Ware wears. The crowd erupted and even Duke players hugged the Louisville players.
