Final Four 2013 Predictions: What Are the Odds For Louisville to Win?

Culture

The odds for tonight's game have Louisville favored by 10.5 points.

Those odds don't come as a surprise to injured Sophomore guard Kevin Ware. Ware said he has no doubt in his mind that the top ranked Cardinals will move onto Monday's national championship game. He's got good reason to be optimistic too.

Louisville Coach Rick Pitino demands much out of his team. The energy that the Cardinals exhibit on the court is going to be difficult, if not impossible for Wichita State to match. If there was any bit of uncertainty in anyone's mind about the determination of the Cardinals to win, it's been shattered over the last several games. When Ware broke his tibia in the game against Duke, he told his teammates to win for him, and they did. They blew out the game against Duke 85-63 with the help of Russ Smith and Peyton Siva. Russ Smith is the junior guard for the Cardinals and is averaging 26 points in the NCAA tournament. Point guard and senior Peyton Siva is part of the Cardinals defensive power house that creates opportunities via turnovers. With Ware out of the game but watching court-side, the team is going to have even more determination and motivation to win.

The Cardinals have hit their stride and with coach Pitino at the helm it's nearly impossible to see how Wichita State can win. The Cardinals have the team and the program behind them to win Saturday's game. The Cardinals are going to play aggressively and relentlessly, running Wichita all over the court. Even if Wichita plays its best game, it's probably still not enough to beat the Cardinals this year.

Here are the game times for tonight's Final Four match-ups:
