Remember the ubiquitous red equality sign that went viral on your social media feeds when the Supreme Court heard arguments for and against Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA)? Now supporters of immigration reform have literally flipped the sign vertically to appropriate it and use it in their advocacy — especially, when it comes to the elusive "path to citizenship" for the estimated 11 million of undocumented workers who live in the United States.

And, like the marriage equality movement, "In Solidarity With 11 Million" plans to capitalize on the momentum reached by the bipartisan immigration talks in Washington (the so-called "Gang of 8" in the Senate is finishing up prep work on an immigration bill that will come before Congress within the next several weeks).
