Coachella 2013 Live Stream: Performances By Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Skrillex, Modest Mouse, and More

Culture

Coachella Music and Arts Festival has descended on Indio, CA, bringing with it thousands of music-loving fans, tons of exceptionally talented artists, and a lot of water hoses. Here are the top performances from Friday:

Yeah Yeah Yeahs:

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs were one of the bigger names to go on stage Friday, and they performed some of their bigger hits including 'Maps' and 'Heads Will Roll'.

Johnny Marr:

The brilliant guitarist for The Smiths rocked the house by singing 'There is a Light That Never Goes Out' ... sans Morrissey.

Blur:

Going on any U.S. stage for the first time since 2003, the always charming Damon Albarn and Blur sang 'This Is A Low' to an ecstatic crowd.

Modest Mouse:

Playing a 50 minute set before Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse performed 'Dramamine' below and a new song, 'Be Brave.' The band seems to be enjoying their groove, or seem a little drunk, but either way they played quite a show.

Skrillex and Boyz Noise's 'Dog Blood':

Boyz Noise and Skrillex played a song called 'Dog Blood.' Really, I have nothing more to add.
