Boston Marathon Bombing: President Obama To Give Briefing at 6:10PM ET

This is the first image available of the President since news of the bombing first broke. President Obama will brief the press at 6:10 EST. 

"Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick said he has spoken to the president, who has directed his administration to provide whatever assistance is necessary in the investigation and response. The president also called Boston Mayor Tom Menino." According to the Washington Post. 

In his statement to the Press in the White House briefing room President Obama said: 

"But make no mistake. We will get to the bottom of this. We will find out who did this and why ... We will hold them accountable."

and

"The American people will send a prayer to the people of Boston tonight."
