Dzhokhar Tsarnaev: Boston Bombers' Father Says "My Son is a True Angel"

The Associated Press has spoken on the phone with the father of the two suspects in the brutal Boston bombing. He was in the Russian city of Makhachkala when he learned about the death of his eldest son Tamerlan Tsarnaev and he told reporters that his youngest son, who is currently being aggressively pursued by police, is a "smart and accomplished man."

"My son is a true angel [..] Dzhokhar is a second-year medical student in the U.S. He is such an intelligent boy. We expected him to come on holidays here," reports the AP.

RT reports that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's name appears on the list of recipients of the Cambridge scholarships in 2011 and he was also athlete of the month in 2011.

The sons' mother, on the other hand, s appears to be living in Massachusetts and has a criminal record.  She stole $1,624 $ worth of women's clothing and for has been arrested for "malicious damage to property.".
