Jeffrey Bauman Jr., Other Boston Bomb Survivors Get Surprise Visit From Bradley Cooper

Impact

Bradley Cooper and New England Patriots player Julian Edelman visited survivors of the Boston Marathon bombing while they were recovering in the hospital yesterday.

Jeffrey Bauman Jr. (picture below) went to the Boston Marathon to watch his girlfriend run when he was severely injured during the blasts. He was rushed from the scene of the bombing in a wheelchair and a graphic picture of his ordeal went viral online. Tragically, both of his legs have been amputated but he still managed to flash a brave thumbs up. No celebrity buzz will ever erase the lasting physical and psychological trauma that the bombing had on these people's lives, but it's nice to see these survivors smile after they've undergone such an ordeal.

Edelman's picture on Twitter read "Visited #survivor #stud #hero Jeffrey Bauman Jr. today. He was looking great and is a true inspiration. #strong".
